ER Nurse Mother Saves Accident Victim on Way to Daughter's Wedding
A woman, who had worked as an ER nurse for more than 35 years, sprang into action to help save the life of a woman who had been in a car accident while she was on her way to her daughter's wedding. The nurse's daughter, who shared the story on Facebook, said that her mother was holding the injured woman's airway open while directing officers and EMS workers, and talking to the air-care team over the phone. The nurse made sure to wear gloves at the scene of the accident so as not to get blood on her dress, as she knew she had to walk her daughter down the aisle later. The daughter expressed her pride in her mother's actions and her gratitude that she was able to be there to support her on her wedding day.
